Privacy Policy

Effective 8 October 2026

In short: Snatchole saves videos and audio from links you choose to your phone. It has no sign-up and never asks for your name, e-mail, phone number, contacts or location. The links you paste are not sent to us. We collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to keep the app working, and the free version shows ads from our advertising partners.

This policy explains how the Android app Snatchole (package app.snatchole), developed by Hugebyte Labs ("we", "us"), handles information.

1. Links and the files you save

When you copy or share a link into Snatchole, the app contacts the site that hosts the content and, for some sites, third-party services that help locate the media file, so it can download it. The link is sent only to those services, not to us. Saved videos and audio are written to your phone's own storage (the Movies and Music folders) and stay there until you delete them.

2. Anonymous usage data

To find bugs and understand which features work, the app sends us short events such as "app opened", "download finished" or "download failed". Each event contains:

Events never contain the links you paste, the titles of what you save or the files themselves. Like any web server, our servers also see your IP address when the app connects; it is used only to deliver the request and for security.

3. Premium and crypto payments

Premium is bought with cryptocurrency on a payment page shown inside the app. To make this work without an account:

Live coin prices are fetched by our server from public market data sources; no personal data is sent for this. We never receive or store your wallet's private keys or seed phrase.

4. Advertising

The free version of Snatchole shows ads from Start.io and Yandex Mobile Ads (which includes Yandex's AppMetrica). These partners may collect device information, your advertising ID and IP address to show and measure ads, under their own policies: Start.io Privacy Policy and Yandex Privacy Policy.

On first launch the app asks whether you allow personalised ads. If you say no, our partners are told to show only non-personalised ads. You can change this at any time in Settings → Personalised ads, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Premium users see no ads.

5. Permissions

Snatchole does not ask for storage, contacts, location, camera or microphone permissions. Files are saved through Android's own media storage, which needs no extra permission.

6. Where data is stored and for how long

Usage events and Premium records are stored with our hosting providers Vercel and Supabase (servers in the European Union and the United States). We keep usage events only as long as they are useful for aggregate statistics, and Premium records as long as your Premium can be restored. App data on your phone is excluded from Android backup and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

7. What we do not do

8. Children

Snatchole is a general utility and is not directed at children under 13.

9. Your rights

You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app. You may ask us for access to, or deletion of, the data tied to your install ID or recovery code (you can find the recovery code in the app's Settings), and you have the rights given by the laws that apply to you, for example the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
